 Possible tasks and responsibilities :

  • Manufacture, adjust, clean, and polish dies (molds-tooling) according to the technical procedures of the company's production.
  • Familiarize oneself with technical drawings; read assembly plans.
  • Evaluate the impacts of surface finishes on the quality of extrusion.
  • Ensure the final quality of polishing work before product shipment.
  • Refer mold issues to the Mold Corrector and make necessary adjustments before the final shipment to the customer.
  • Perform equipment maintenance for the work.
  • Conduct deburring (Grinding) of mold dies.
  • Adjust dies using conventional machines.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Specialized education diploma in production, including one of the following disciplines: deburring, machining, toolmaker-adjuster, or other related disciplines.
  • Solid relevant experience as a toolmaker-adjuster, with the use of conventional machines and deburring experience.
  • Practical experience in metal deburring (Grinding).
  • Knowledge of the aluminum extrusion process would be an asset.
